Baby Swimming lessons on the Costa del Sol

The courses are taught by experienced STA (the world's largest swimming teaching organisation) qualified teachers, who also hold the relevant Life saving qualifications. 

Each Course runs for a period of five weeks, with each class taking place for half an hour once a week.  Courses take place at El Campanario Golf and Country Club Estepona, El Paraiso, Estepona and El Sultan Hotel, Marbella.

As well as teaching skills for swimming and water safety, Little Fishes – Spain swim courses follow official water safety and swimming programmes designed by the STA for babies and toddlers.

Once children are 6 months old they will be able to participate in the STARFISH programme.  This has been designed not only to provide children with life saving safety skills but also to develop them physically, emotionally and socially whilst having fun.  As your child completes each stage of the STARFISH programme they will receive a certificate and a badge to show their achievement.

From 2 years old your child can pass onto The First Steps Series award programme which is designed to teach pre-school children, to learn to swim through 14 progressive steps. The scheme builds on the STA motto “Swim for Fun, Health and Safety”. Again as you child completes each stage they will receive a certificate and badge to mark their achievement.

Each course costs €70 (this includes your entrance into the Spa, IVA and all certificates and badges that your child will be awarded), with reductions available for siblings, introducing a friend and for signing up on consecutive courses.

The next course starts in Estepona in early September in both the morning and afternoon, spaces are limited to 6 toddlers or 6- 8 babies so please call now to reserve you place and avoid disappointment.
